With You tagalog rap is a song I wrote on march 2008.
This is actually a song I made for a particular person... the reason why its short is that... that person broke up with me in the middle of my creation of this song *ouch*.
And because I only get to write songs when inspired, I was never able to finish it. Even by the time I've moved on, I wasn't able to put additional lyrics on it because the thing about my songwriting is that my songs are like time capsules. What I feel on that particular moment when I write it, that's what I put on the lyrics. The time I was writing it, I was in love (yiiiiiii♥♥♥lols) and after the break-up, it just didn't feel right whenever I try to finish it. Anyway, I can't think of a word to say anymore for its lyrics so I just moved on to other songs. (sigh)




Pinaasa (go on girl beat) is a recent creation.
This time, I was able to create a song from other's experience. This is actually Yhorieck's problem that I decided to put in a song. Listen to it for you to be able to relate on what it is I'm talking about.

THE MOMENT YOU CAUGHT MY HEART

I'm trying to recreate my style... this one has a catchy jingle that's not like the common rap songs I compose... :)

While we were practicing this song, we had a lot of fun!
It was so hard singing it without standing up... and because of the catchy melody, we can't help ourselves...

We always get carried away at the very 1st beat of this song and we can't stop dancing!



DESEO SECRETO


I just posted it here earlier because I wanted to give you an idea of what to expect. :)


Deseo Secreto or Secret Desire. The title itself basically explains what's inside the song.
Upon creating Deseo Secreto, I somehow wandered a little farther outside my comfort zone.
If you will just observe...

I was surprised to find myself humming a song on a Spanish melody, and I was even surprised to even put some Spanish phrases within the lyrics!
The thing is, I don't know if the grammar is correct. lol.

♥Tell Me Where It Hurts #45 on Charts!♥

It was such a big surprise to us when we saw ourselves ranking #45 on the internet charts. Given the fact that this is "the web" where there are entries from all over the world... the chart info even tells us that there were over 100,000 entries!

This may not mean anything to a lot of people, but for me its something I find fulfilling. We started singing just to have fun, so when faced with information like this, I can't help being inspired.

After I saw that this is my highest rating song, I decided to make a video out of it so I can post it to Youtube... if you want to look at it in youtube, search for my account iiipinkloveiii

Classic love triangle...

A story about a guy being dumped coz his girl fell in love with his friend.

The 1st verse is the side of the guy being dumped,
2nd verse is the girl's point of view,
3rd verse is the friend of the guy with whom the girl fell in love with.

The first guy came up to me asking for advice... he was really heartbroken that time, so I thought it would be a good way for me to give him every angle of the situation by putting it into a song.





I have 3 songs in the making... unfortunately, I can't seem to get in the mood to finish it yet.

I chose the name ♥pinklove♥... coz... (guessed hard?)
i love pink! hehehe!

Do you play live?

I've played once... So Sick (so tired), in my previous work place, in HSBC... by request of my superior. It was for a program where all the bosses of our company were present... so i guess its was one moment to remember.


Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Of course. (Ambisyosa! lol.)


History:

I started making songs since high school. It started out as an opening cheer whenever we have class.
Eventually, I got hooked up to chatting. I met some people out there who does freestyle rapping. I found it funny and entertaining so I tried to write a song of my own. It was really amusing when someone gets on the mic and raps about people inside the room (though it could get really annoying when its someone who just likes to humiliate someone). I can't do freestyle, though.

Most of the songs I made are really with their own history. Each of them are actually a song for a particular person. So each song, is actually a representation of a part of my life. Every song has its subject, and every line has a message intended for someone.

As I've said, my songs have their own history.
This one's inspired by my brother's wife (Hi ate Dethay!)... She told me how they started their love story. Anyway, even I myself was a constant victim of my brother's mischievous ways.

My sister-in-law tells me stories of how my bro kept bugging her and everything... but then eventually turns out to be his husband. Anyway, my kuya's ways are all lovable (though there were times when I was a kid, I always cry coz of him, hehehe). Don't get me wrong... he's not a bully.

♥Another Twist♥

One day, a friend of mine texted me. He told me his trouble with his "special someone" and how he's so confused of what they have. I really can't find any good advice for him but I wanted to help. Then it occurred to me to write a song about his heartaches... it helps me when I sing out what I feel inside, so I thought maybe it would also make him feel better. I asked if he knows how to rap and he told me that he only knows a little. After he read the song I made, he liked it a lot and said he'd give it a shot (rapping). After hearing the final cut, he loved it so much that he wanted to do another one! I proposed to him that we make our own name...
so Szikrettoh was born.

We have fun doing different songs. I get more inspired writing new ones... unlike before, I need to feel such strong emotions just to get in the mood to write! And another good thing was, I was able to help my friend after all... I made him so busy and ecstatic that he forgot to be depressed. lol.

♥Claim to Fame? (How I wish!!!)♥

Today (April 6,2009), upon opening my soundclick account, I was so surprised to what I saw...
we were at #45 at the Internet Song Charts!

When we 1st started, we were so happy seeing our songs go up till #500. We were sooo proud seeing ourselves up that high given the fact that all song entries are from all over the world! And it was like, there is actually a hundred thousand song entries!...(and counting...)
for us to be up #500, it was a lot for us already.


Today (April 6,2009), upon opening my soundclick account, I was so surprised to what I saw... we were at #45 at the Internet Song Charts!

My jaws actually dropped at what I saw! I started giggling uncontrollably. lol.

♥What more to expect...♥

As of now, I have a new song written.
I also have another one in line which is a very different one coz I was thinking of adding flavor to it by making a short home-made movie out of it. I hope it turns out good...
